Our Team

Meet The Team

Founder, Chair

Jessica Fisher

My background is a teacher for 5 years and a pharmaceutical sales rep for over 20 years. I am the mother of Justin, Charlie and Joshua, and the wife of Patrick Fisher. I have been involved in pediatric cancer awareness since June 2011 when our son, Joshua, was diagnosed. My family and I created “Baystar Family Retreat”, a nonprofit organization to provide families with a child battling cancer a unique retreat experience where they can have hope in faith, connect with other families facing pediatric cancer and enjoy time with their immediate family outside of a hospital setting. We partner with the Tampa Bay community, businesses and churches to raise money and serve these families at the retreat.

Director

Patrick Fisher

I am currently the Vice Chair of the board for Baystar Family Retreat. Along with my wife, Jessica, we saw the need for this type of organization. Our son, Josh, was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. Throughout the journey we found the need for a respite for families battling this horrible disease. With our family of five, we wanted to pay it forward and help as many families as we could in their most desperate time. In addition to the duties with Baystar, I am currently employed as a Sales Manager with a medical device distributor.
